It’s the desire of my heart to give the only thing of value I have to give… the life of Christ poured out of me in my surrendered life to others, and to teach my kids to do the same.

This video spoke that “conspiracy” beautifully!

as far as i can tell, the gift can be any
price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item.

    ooh! Pick me! Pick me! I love handmade things! lol. I LOVE this idea! I posted about the Advent conspiracy last night and I shared it on a forum that I participate on. Hmm…now, what can I make by hand????Off to post about this on my blog!

    I’ve never seen a comment removed by a blog administrator before…sounds pretty official! As a crafty person my self, I wouldn’t go as far as calling us “diva’s” :)…we are just like anyone else, just given different talents. I’ve never considered people with other talents diva’s in their area of expertise. I just thought that was an interesting way of referring to the ‘crafty people’ of the world is all!and you are right, comparing ourselves to others is a recipe for disaster! We need to embrace our God given talents. I know for me, I’m very humbled and grateful God chose to bless me with the Art of HandMade Crafts. no doubt you feel the same with your God-given blessing. embrace it, receive it! Nothing from Him is a waste. it all plays a role in the Body!

    To the PayItForward commenter, I just wanted you to know that I deleted your comment only because I wanted others who might want to receive the handmade gift and continue this posts challenge of making something themselves to pass on to someone else a chance to do so. But then I thought… maybe you’d like a handmade gift from me? 🙂 So, just to clarify, if you’d like a handmade gift I’d LOVE to make you one… just leave me another comment or email me!Thanks 🙂Anonymous, Don’t read too much into my “diva” reference… just my perspective. I dont’ really think of anyone as a diva, but I do wish I could do crafts as well as some women I know. This post is more than anything just a confession of my tendency to compare myself to others, which I think is something we as women do often, in many areas, not just in the crafting department!I agree with you. God has made us in His image, some things we’re strong in, some things we’re weak in… whatever the case is we should offer all of us for His glory and hold nothing back because it appears someone else does it better!     I just wanted to say what a wonderful film and thanks for sharing, it has made me think. Something has to give in our consumerist/time-poor society.
